Como vos dissemos,
estivemos uns dias na Fil a percorrer os corredores da Trends LxD. Logo esta
semana tínhamos de vos trazer as nossas marcas favoritas e por isso trocamos
aqui um pouco as voltas. Lá vimos coisas maravilhosas que demonstram que a
cabeça dos portugueses afinal ainda funciona, e ainda consegue produzir beleza,
independentemente da situação miserável do nosso país. Após um desfile de
cabelos, acessórios e roupa houve duas marcas que nos saltaram à vista e não
pudemos esperar até darmos um saltinho aos stands.
A Idict by Anabela Marques é uma
marca de joalharia sustentável. (Say What?!) Pois é, nunca na vida diríamos que
aqueles colares magníficos, as pulseiras ou mesmo os brincos eram feitos de
plástico PET e revistas desatualizadas.
Em troca de palavras com a Anabela não só notamos a
sua paixão pelo que faz como a preocupação pelo meio ambiente. Como nos disse,
a política dos 3R’s (Redução, Reutilização e Reciclagem) é levada a sério. De
professora de Artes Visuais, dinamizando escultura a partir de embalagens de
plástico e cartão, a artista plástica e joalheira ambiental, a Anabela passou
por Barcelona numa pós graduação que por sua vez a levou ao Mercado de
Artesanato Urbano Português onde foram vendidas as primeiras peças.
O incentivo estava dado. Voltou para Portugal e desde
então tem apostado em fazer conhecer a possibilidade de termos ao pescoço ou
mesmo como pequenos acessórios algo que foi deitado para o lixo e que nunca
perdeu a sua beleza, sendo apenas reaproveitado e transformado. Isto lembra-nos
a Lei de Lavoisier – Na natureza nada se perde, tudo se transforma.
São
peças únicas, pois não há nenhuma igual, amigas do ambiente e lindas de morrer.
São o suficiente para dar aquele toque de classe num simples vestido preto ou a
única maneira possível de aperaltar aquele conjunto que precisava daquele toque

Logo a seguir, mesmo à frente, temos a Beija-Flor
Design. Começamos a olhar para o stand e vemos umas formas específicas de
flores, círculos, corais e borboletas e a primeira pergunta que nos vem à
cabeça é: de que é que isto é feito?
Em conversa com a designer Nicole Souto Vidal
descobrimos que esta é uma colecção feita de silicone. A Beija-Flor surgiu da
necessidade de ter joalharia a preços acessíveis e acima de tudo que não
provocassem alergias.
Com alergia a alguns metais, a Nicole pensou em
si e em todas as outras mulheres, que com o mesmo tipo de problema, só teriam
hipótese de recorrer a metais mais caros como o ouro.
Sendo assim, com o peso de 2 a 16 gramas (o
exacto peso de um beija flor…sabem.. aquele passarinho minúsculo que bate as
asas para lá de rapidamente) e com um design de linhas simples mas chamativas
nasce uma linha de jóias hipoalergênica, leve, lavável e resistente.
A durabilidade aqui torna-se evidente. Será o
futuro passar este tipo de jóias para filhas, netas e por aí fora? São peças que se
tornam uma autêntica segunda pele de tão leves que são. E sem dúvida
resistentes, pois como foi dito pela Nicole, são até à prova de bebé.
E são peças que também se tornam leves nas carteiras, pois os preços são
para lá se acessíveis. As pulseiras €10 e os colares €15. Queremos ver agora
brincos, anéis, linhas completas. Decerto que seriam o furor do Natal.

E assim temos duas designers portuguesas que, movidas pela paixão e/ou pela
necessidade, nos trazem criatividade pura e beleza estonteante. Temos talentos
escondidos por Portugal inteiro e muitos ainda desconhecidos. A Trends LxD
mostrou-nos isso. Apoiem o que é nosso.

As it was said, we’ve been few days at Fil walking
through Trens LxD corridors. So this week we had to bring you our favorite
brands so we mix it up a little bit here. We saw there wonderful things that
show us that portuguese heads are still working and producing beauty, no matter
the miserable situation of our country. After a hair show, accessories and
clothes, there were two brands that popped and we couldn’t wait to visit the
stands.
Idict
by Anabela Marques it’s a brand of sustainable jewelry. (Say Whats?!). Yeap,
we would never say that those necklaces, bracelets and earing were made in
PET plastic and outdated magazines.
Talking to
Anabela we not only noticed her passion for what she does as also the concern
about the environment. As she told us, her 3R’s policy (Reduction,
Reutilization and Recycling) is taken seriously. From Visual Arts teacher,
encouraging sculpture made of plastic and card, to an artist and enviromental jeweller,
Anabela was in Barcelona involved in a post graduation that took her to the Portuguese
Urban Craftwork Market where she sold her first pieces. The incentive was on.
She came to Portugal and since then she’s been betting on making known the
possibilty for us to have something around our neck or a small accessory that
was thrown to the garbage and that never lost its beauty, being reused and
transformed. This reminds us Lavoisier’s Law – In nature nothing is lost,
everything is transformed.
They’re unique pieces, as there’s no tone looking
as the other, enviroment friendly and gorgeous. They are enough to give that
classy touch to a simple black dress or the only way around to perk up the
ensemble that needed a final touch. They are Idict by Anabela Marques.

Right next to it we have Beija-Flor
Design. We start looking at the stand and we see some shapes of flowers, circles,
corals and butterflies and the first question that comes to our minds is: what
is this made of?
While talking with the
designer Nicole Souto Vidal we found out that this is a colection made out of
silicone. Beija-Flor came out of the need to have jewelry at accessible prices
and most of it that don’t provoque allergies.
With a metal allergy, Nicole
thought of herself and other women who share the same problem which only chance
would be expensier metals like gold.
So, weighing from 2 to 16
grams (the exact weight of the hummingbird… you know… that tiny little bird
that flaps its wing beyond fast) and with simple but flashy lines, borns a line
of jewelry that is hypoallergenic, lightweight, washable and durable.
Durability here becomes
obvious. Is it the future to pass on these types of jewels to daughters,
granddaughters and so on? These are pieces that become like a second skin being
so light. And there is no doubt that they are resilient, as Nicole told us,
they are baby proof.
And they are also light in
the wallets as the prices are beyond accessible. Bracelets €10
and the necklaces €15. Now we want to see earrings, rings, full lines. We are sure these would be the Christmas must
have’s

So we have two Portuguese designers, which by passion
or need, bring us pure creativity and dazzling beauty. We have so many hidden
talents in Portugal and loads of them unknown. Trends LxD show us that. Support what is
